As expected from subtle hints released recently, the next Call of Duty is Black Ops III. The first trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops III asks, “How far are you willing to go?”
It starts with a mysterious voice saying, “This will help you remember,” before we hear a familiar clip from the original Black Ops. It continues in a similar vein with a voiceover interlinking with clips from previous titles.
The trailer closes with the announcement that a world reveal will take place on April 26th. The trailer has been posted on the PlayStation and Xbox YouTube channels, so expect it to be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. We can hardly imagine PC gamers being left out in the cold either. Whether Black Ops III will be compatible with previous generation consoles or not remains yet to be seen.
Many would argue that the campaign is the less important side of Call of Duty titles. However, we’ve quite enjoyed the Black Ops’ storyline, so we’re looking forward to seeing how it continues…and possibly finishes.
