Xbox One June Update goes live - adds external storage and Games with Gold
Microsoft has started rolling out the June update to Xbox One owners, which brings a variety of changes and tweaks.

Xbox One owners will reap the benefits of the Games with Gold scheme for the first time, getting access to selected games for free once they have an Xbox Live Gold membership. This month Xbox One owners will get their hands on Max: The Curse of Brotherhood and Halo: Spartan Assault.

The update also supports features such as external storage, the ability to use your real name on Xbox Live, and improved SmartGlass integration. Meanwhile, certain apps that have been locked behind the Xbox Live paywall, such as Twitch, HBO GO, and Hulu Plus, will now be available for anyone to use. It’s worth noting that some apps do require a subscription of their own, but until this update that’s been an additional charge rather than the only charge.

According to Major Nelson, the update will be rolled out over the course of the week.
