Xbox One Kinect voice control enabled in Ireland
While the Xbox One was willing to listen to players in other English speaking countries, including our neighbours across the pond, Irish players have had to wait until now to be able to issue voice commands to their Xbox One.

To enable voice commands, open the settings menu, select “Language & Location,” and then select Spoken English. This will allow you to speak to your console, assuming Kinect is plugged in, to get it to do various functions like turn on, record gameplay and open apps quickly. Of course, now you too may be the subject of Aaron Paul turning on your console.

Kinect voice controls have also been enabled in Austria and New Zealand as of today. It’s unclear why it took so long for these controls to be enabled in Ireland. Are our accents that unusual? What’s the first thing that you will do now that you can chat to your Xbox One via Kinect?
