FIFA 15 is out now, there's a very good chance you've already wrapped your claws around the plastic goodness of its game box. But which platform did you opt for in the end? And was it the game that finally convinced you to get on board with the new current gen of consoles?
According to reports, the release of FIFA 15 in the UK meant that sales of the Xbox One edged out the PS4 for the first time since they both released in late 2013. This coincides with a recent UK price cut for the console, bringing it under £400 in the run up to the busiest release schedule of the year.
MCV reports a 155 percent increase in sales of Xbox One consoles since last week. That's compared to an 80 percent jump for PS4 in the same period, with Sony also announcing a price cut and benefitting hugely from the release of Destiny. It seems FIFA retains some Xbox brand loyalty then but with the Christmas season on the way and a plethora of cross-console releases ready to launch it remains to be seen just which console will reign supreme.
