Zelda developer teases multiplayer in future titles
Zelda developer Eiji Aonuma said that the franchise may offer more than just single player in future titles.

Speaking to Game Informer, Aonuma said that Zelda will become more than a single player experience in the future, before adding “maybe next year.” He was promoting the upcoming release of Hyrule Warriors and was asked if the co-op gameplay in Dynasty Warriors' spin-off would be utilised in future Zelda titles.

"The two-player functionality of Hyrule Warriors is actually something that has traditionally been done in the Dynasty Warriors series, but they’ve changed because of the hardware and the second screen on your GamePad," he said. "Instead of having a splitscreen on the television, you have one-player playing on the television and one on the GamePad.”

Would you be happy to have multiplayer included in future Zelda titles? Is that the way that all titles must eventually go?
