Dying Light looks like a lot of fun, with an open world, zombie killing and free-running to be had. So naturally we can't have nice things.
A couple of fairly hazy rumours are suggesting that the game, which was due for release at the end of January 2015, might be delayed by a month or more. Listings on Amazon France and FNAC have moved the date into Feb or March, though there's no word from the publisher as yet.
Speculation might suggest as these are both French sites that the delay could be down to the horrific events which unfolded in Paris over the last few weeks, with the publishers choosing not to put out a violent game into that market. Which seems like a perfectly reasonable move.
Techland hasn't mentioned anything about the delay, so the game could still be on track for its January release date in the rest of the world.
Dying Light is set to debut on PS4, Xbox One and PC on the 27th of January 2015.
