One-off James Bond star George Lazenby
was so shaken to learn 007 is ditching his trademark Martini he was stirred to speak out against it.
Lazenby (72), who had his licence to kill in the 1969 film On Her Majesty’s Secret Service
, said the decision to swap the signature vodka concoction for Heineken, in a deal said to be worth €35m for next Bond movie Skyfall, was wrong.
He said it was sad that film-makers always “go where the money is”.
