Just re-watching that worn down tape of Thelma and Louise- his bedroom scene and opener to the world of acting is the naked Rose in Titanic equivalent moment for teenage girls- it is clear anybody with a pulse wouldn’t say no to an evening with Brad Pitt. Aside from his remarkably impeccable genetic goods given to him at the god store, the man just emits pheromones through the screen or something. For ten lucky fans, an evening with Brad is in the range of possibility, and no Angelina bump-off would be necessary (though we’d imagine she’d be an easy one to get as she’d be too busy looking transcendent to see you coming, that breath-taking woman).
The Killing Them Softly actor has paired up with Groupon, the voucher website, to offer the extraordinary gift of attending an intimate charity event with him, where there will also be performances by Kings of Leon and Bruno Mars. The event is on May 17 and is in aid of Brad's charity Make It Right, which builds homes and communities for people in need.
The winning ten guests will fly to New Orleans and stay for three nights in a suite at the W Hotel. They will be given VIP guest passes for the night at The Sugar Mill, with only ten places available internationally, one of which will be from a free prize draw.
Fans can get involved from April 22 by donating £15,000 to Make It Right to secure a place on a first come, first served basis, or enter the free draw. The draw is being run in the UK, France and Germany, from which one winner will be chosen at random on May 6.
Brad – a father of six with fiancee Angelina Jolie - formed the Make It Right foundation in 2007 with designer William McDonough to rebuild 150 safe, energy-efficient and affordable homes for families from New Orleans Lower 9th Ward who lost everything after Hurricane Katrina and has almost one hundred homes have been completed so far. Groupon has already donated more than £60,000 to the cause.
