Disaster struck for
Celebrity Salon star Nikki Grahame during filming last week when the former Big Brother contestant broke her elbow.
Insiders revealed to
The Star that the tiny television personality was taking part in a task for the popular TV3 show that saw her Irish dancing at a ceili in Cork.
But when the 30-year-old paired up with fellow cast member
Philip Oliver she ended up doing the Highland Fling instead of a jig.
“She was dancing with Philip and he was spinning her around when he let go of her hand and she went flying,” a source revealed yesterday. "Obviously it was a complete accident. She’s a real trooper though, and she continued on with the show and actually ended up winning the following task single-handedly."
The eight contestants have bonded throughout their 10 days of filming, which is due to conclude today. However, rumours are rife that some may have become closer than others, with former Geordie Shore star
Greg Lake (27) tweeting yesterday: “I think I’m in love.”
According to insiders, he and Irish model
Nadia Forde have hit it off, and yesterday the pair fuelled gossip when he posted an image of his torso with a love heart waxed into his chest courtesy of the 23-year-old stunner. The gang also includes TV3 babe
Glenda Gilson (31), reality TV star
Layla Flaherty (28), dance music star Carol Anthony (27) and UTV presenter Julian Simmons (60).
A number of the eight cast members are believed to have prolonged their stay in Dublin to spend more time with each other after being pictured letting their hair down in Harry’s Bar in Dublin on Tuesday night.
But poor Nikki brought a whole new meaning to the term cast member as she was spotted sporting a plaster-of-Paris and a sling on her injured arm. Nikki divided opinion when she appeared on Big Brother in 2006, often throwing extreme temper tantrums. She also was the subject of her own reality TV show Princess Nikki, which ran on E4.
