Christine Bleakley is planning a royal Irish wedding with Chelsea footballer Frank Lampard.
The former Daybreak host said she wants her dress on the big day to look just like Kate Middleton’s gown when she wed Prince William last year, reports Billy Scanlan.
Christine (32) said: “I haven’t even tried any dresses on, but a friend told me to try one I don’t like because that can sometimes be ‘The One’. The Duchess of Cambridge’s dress was elegant, classic and beautiful, with a little bit of a modern edge.”
But the Newry, Co Down beauty added she definitely prefers Kate Middleton’s to Katie Price’s 2005 pink gown for her nuptials to Peter Andre. “There was far too much fabric on Katie Price’s,” she said.
She said she still hasn’t planned her wedding with the 33-year-old Chelsea ace. But she is hoping to organise something for this summer. rumour has it that the couple will choose Ireland as the location for the big bash.
Sources claimed recently the pair want to tie the knot at Galgorm Manor Resort and Spa, a luxury hotel set in 163 acres of parkland in Antrim. But said Christine: “A hotel in ireland is constantly mentioned, but i haven’t set foot in there [the hotel] for nine years. We’d like to do it sooner rather than later, but it depends on what happens with Frank and his football in the summer.”
Christine is now co-hosting
Dancing On Ice with TV favorite Phillip Schofield. Responding to negative publicity following her debut on the programme, she said: “I was expecting it... But I’ve had lovely feedback from Phillip and the people I work with.”
