Bonnie Ryan had her first taste of show business aged 14, when her band Lady Nada supported Westlife at the then Point Theatre. Now, a few years down the line the middle Ryan child has gone public with her first solo performance last year, and is now giving song-writing a go.
The late presenter, Radio and TV personality Gerry Ryan’s daughter Bonnie has been working in the studio over the past few months as she puts pen to paper on her own lyrics. The 21-year-old studies music at Ballyfermot College of Further Education.
In an interview with The Diary she stated “I'm just writing and recording a lot of stuff. I'm working on making a demo and producing my own original stuff, so that's where I am at the moment. I love my music, so that's my main goal and it's very exciting.”
She added “I'm doing it all by myself right now, but maybe in the future I'll look to share my music and work with somebody else [...] Once I'm satisfied with what I've done, then I'll be happy to share it with everyone”.
