Roz Purcell could be the next name we see in lights after the Tipp lass enrolled herself in an acting course this week.
A woman of many talents, the 21-year-old Clonmel native started her first day at the
Gaiety School of Acting yesterday and she couldn't wait to get stuck in.
"I have some free time in the evenings at the moment so I just started looking at some evening classes that I thought might interest me and found this one," she told The Star.
The month long course in adult acting is described as a confidence-building introduction to the craft of acting and improvisation based in Dublinís hub of Temple Bar.
"I just wanted to give it a go. I'm quite close to the Gaiety and I go there all the time. I've always had an interest in it because a lot of the girls (fellow models) are involved in the shows," she said.
Asked if she is aiming to reach for the skies and end up on Hollywood, or simply on Dublin's Panto scene she adds: "I doubt it. I'll probably be crap so it all depends on what I'm good at or if I'm any good at it."
"But I'm open to anything. I'm good at improvisation and it will be a great confidence builder, not that I need it," she laughed.
