Our concerts are more tiring than the marathon!Hey you guys, we ran our first marathon ever in Los Angeles last weekend and it was totally insane!
I could have ran a lot faster. I was really bombing but Edward was holding me back.
It wasn’t his fault because his leg with the knee surgery started hurting him about 23 miles into the race.
In the end he told me to go on and I finished at about three hours and 30 minutes but he was only a few minutes behind. I wasn’t tired at all — I’ve been more exhausted after doing a concert — but we weren’t running competitively. The furthest distance we’ve run before is 15 miles and we hadn’t planned for it and we hadn’t trained but we knew mentally we could do it.
We’d brought our trainers with us because we were planning to go running in Sweden after leaving Los Angeles. But our American Stars and Stripes shorts were crazy though because they had this zip and we had to keep pulling our shorts around because the zip was burning our legs.
The best thing about the marathon was that we got to see so much of Los Angeles — from Dodgers Stadium through Hollywood and Beverly Hills. It was like being on a tour bus. And even though we weren’t official runners they gave us medals which was totally Jepic!
When we started running it was dark but when we finished it was sunny but we still hadn’t any sunburn by the time we finished the race. But then after the race we spent two crazy hours looking for a taxi and that’s when we got burnt! We think we’re going to run more marathons now.
We may even become world champion marathon runners except that we don’t want to become too skinny — because we won’t look good in our skinny jeans anymore.
Fans put us first at premiere
It was so cool going to the premiere of
American Reunion in Los Angeles. Our fans in LA made all these posters specially for us and they were waving them in the crowd. We were there with all these stars of the American Pie movies like Chris Klein, Jason Biggs, Eugene Levy, Alyson Hannigan, Mena Suvari and the fabulous
Tara Reid.
Even though we were surrounded by movie stars, we were the only ones with fans holding posters of us! One of the cool things about having fans in LA is that they all drive. We asked for a lift to the airport when we were leaving LA. We ended up with three cars bringing us and our cases to the airport!
Eur not going to believe our outfits!
OK guys, we can’t tell you too much but we’re seeing a prototype for our Eurovision outfit today. We drew up some designs and gave them to our costume designer Venetia Ercolani and she’s been working on them for weeks.
They will involve some mechanical bits and pieces and the outfit will use batteries and power, so she still doesn’t know if they’ll work yet but seriously guys, they will be the coolest outfits in the world if they do!
Meeting Noel is a big dealDeal or No Deal is a cool show on Channel 4 and we’re going to be filming it next month with Louis Walsh! He’s going to beat the banker and we’re going to be part of his family or his helpers or something. We’ll get to meet Noel Edmonds and we’re going to win thousands for charity!
And if we don’t, we can blame Louis. We’ve also been in Stockholm, Sweden, most of the week and we’re meeting all the fans who’ve missed us because we haven’t been here since January. We’re here to record five songs for our album which should be finished today. We’re working with some of the coolest pop producers including Jörgen Elofsson who wrote Sometimes for Britney Spears!

Britain’s Got Talent but it’s not for usBritain’s Got Talent is starting again tonight. We like watching it but we never thought of entering it. We much prefer X Factor because it’s a show for singers. Britain’s Got Talent is more for dancers, jugglers and dogs. And dogs are so cute. How can you get more votes than a dog?
