Westlife star Kian Egan was praying that his wife Jodi Albert wouldnít go into labour last night while he was performing at the X Factor final.
Kian planned to get a private plane home after the show to be back with Jodi before the baby decided to arrive.
She said: "Have fun on the Xfactor baby @KianEganWL we will be watching..Just make sure that private plane gets u home safely but quickly!!!"
And Kian replied: "We will be on X factor final tomorrow night performing. Very exciting!! Just hope my wife doesn't go into labour when I'm gone!!! #praytogod.
"All I need now is for our little baby to stay put in mummy's belly @JodiAlbert_xxx while I'm gone. I'll be home soon little family.
"On the way to x factor rehearsal now. This will be our last tv performance as Westlife. A great one to finish on."
Kian and Jodi live in Strandhill, Co Sligo and his Westlife bandmate Shane Filan and his wife Gillian also live nearby with their family. She recently joked online that at nine months pregnant she moves "about as fast as a snail".
Kian and Jodi wed in Barbados two years ago and he previously managed her band Wonderland but unfortunately the group split earlier this year. Westlife announced that they were splitting after 14 years together in October.
