Kim Kardashian and fiance Kanye West have won a small victory in their lawsuit against YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley. The couple are suing Hurley over leaking a video of Kanye's extravagant proposal to Kim at San Francisco's AT&T park last October before it was aired on their reality show 'Keeping up with the Kardashians.'
In an attempt to quietly throw out the case, Hurley offered to donate huge sums of money to a charity in exchange for 'Kimye' to drop the case but the couple refused. A judge has now ordered that the case go to trial, a success for the famous couple.
Hurley maintains that he was not aware that he wasn't allowed to film or post the video online but a judge said that the word 'confidentiality' was stated clearly in a document the YouTube founder signed before entering the park.
