The 2008 single Sex on Fire by Alt rock group Kings of Leon was parodied to excess, with everyone taking their turn with the song of raunchy dramatics. In terms of just its levels of excess, the overplayed tune would make Liberace look low-key and in regards to its sexual references it makes The Rolling Stones look far more implicit. The Bucket singers are surprised nobody has approached them over the years to benefit from this popularity and explicitness for an STD treatment or sexual aid.
The band said they “think” they would turn down an STD commercial but would consider a sex aid advertisement more so. Caleb Followill commented ''A lot of people have wondered when it [an STD ad] was going to happen, but it hasn't happened yet. You would think we'd say no, but no one's asked...'' Jared Followill added ''Maybe someone should do an intense KY gel. Like a warming lube. That would work.''
