Look at the trail of destruction caused by giant boulders in Italy
A rockfall in northern Italy caused millions of euro worth of damage after giant boulders rolled down a hill and crashed through a 300-year-old barn and connected vineyards.

The trail of destruction was captured by an aerial drone and shows the extent of the damage caused by the rocks, which are estimated to be approximately 4,000 cubic metres in size. One boulder crashed through the 300-year-old barn before coming to a stop in a field beside a second boulder, which is believed to have been dislodged in a previous rockslide.

A third boulder got wedged moments before it crashed into the main building, and narrowly avoided flattening a car. Luckily, no one was injured in the landslide, and the area has since been evacuated of residents.

The Freisingerhof, which is owned by the Servite order of the Catholic church, is the property showcased in the video footage. The manager of the estate Baron Philipp von Hohenbühel told South Tirol News that the rockfall has done millions of euros worth of damage.
