He is no longer in his Calvin Klein modelling days, that’s for certain, but Mark Wahlberg is hardly a decrepit old guy sitting at home in his rocking chair collecting dust now is he? No, but even still he certainly feels old now. MTV’s honorary MTV Generation Award has made him realise, yes, he is a part of an older generation than the forever young MTV crowd.
The actor will receive the award next month, and views it as a sign of his enduring career. The Departed actor has four children with wife Rhea Durham- Ella, 11, Michael, eight, Brendan, six, and Grace, four. He is scheduled to play a father in the upcoming Transformers sequel, Transformers: Age of Extinction.
Contemplating his achievement award, he told Access Hollywood “'You know what that means? It means you're really old. It means you're old. I'm embracing it. I never thought I'd make it this far.”
