Rock legend
Mick Jagger was “infatuated” with screen stunner
Angelina Jolie and spent two years pursuing her, a new book claims.
Jolie (37) was in her early 20s at the time and, in 1998, was asked to “star” in a Rolling Stones video, it is claimed.
The book about Jagger (68) — entitled Mick: The Wild Life and Mad Genius of Jagger — was written by US author
Christopher Andersen.
It claims that when aides working for Jagger, then 54, persuaded Jolie to appear in a video as a stripper, she replied: “I can’t f***ing sing, and I can’t f***ing dance! What the f*** am I doing here?!”
Jolie, the daughter of Midnight Cowboy star
Jon Voight (73), was addicted to heroin at the time and was married to English actor
Jonny Lee Miller (now 39). Describing why Angelina was so attractive to Jagger, Andersen writes: “Beyond her obvious physical attributes and the fact that she was the daughter of a bona fide Hollywood star... Jolie offered something extra: an element of danger.
“She was high-strung, foul-mouthed, and given to dark moods and fits of tempers. She used hard drugs.” Angelina went on to divorce Miller and later settled down with fellow screen star
Brad Pitt (48). They have six children — three of them adopted — and are said to be preparing to get married.
