Its really nice here, its my first time. I love it, its been amazing. Everyone has been great
Pop star Justin Bieber is returning to Ireland next year — sparking hopes among his fans that he will duet on stage with his new Irish pal Niall Horan.
One Direction and Bieber (18) have become close friends since the band shot to fame in the US and they were in the studio together this year.
The X Factor group got a sneak preview of his new album in the studio and fans hope that they will collaborate on a song in the future.
The Canadian heart-throb will perform in Dublin’s O2 on February 17 and just over two weeks later One Direction will play a run of shows there too.
Bieber — dating Disney babe Selena Gomez — visited Ireland last year and caused chaos in Dublin as his fans chased him around.
They surrounded the O2 for hours before he was due to perform and he was thrilled to be in Ireland to perform for them.
He said: “I want to say thank you to all my Irish fans for all the support and love. You are awesome.
“It’s really nice here, it’s my first time. I love it, it’s been amazing. Everyone has been great.”
Tickets for the Justin Bieber concert go on sale on August 16 and should sell out quickly.
The singer is fresh from celebrating a No1 hit with his album Believe and his song Boyfriend set a world-record for debuting at No1 on iTunes in 32 countries.
