RTE broadcaster
Derek Mooney yesterday lashed out at people who use mobiles in restaurants.
It was his second rant in two days after he criticised listeners on Tuesday for complaining that his afternoon show focused on gay issues.
And mobile phone use in restaurants inspired more anger yesterday.
Derek (45) said: “The worst case is in the restaurant when people bring them in and put them on the table. I mean, they go out to dinner and they’re waiting for that call. I don’t know what that call is, who’s making that call to them or why they’re waiting on it.”
