I like your style, in fact I love your style

1: Attenborough is the daddy bird
David Attenborough has revealed that he gets bombarded with requests to record voicemail greetings for people and to send recorded messages for weddings. And the natural history broadcaster reckons he knows why he has such a recognisable voice.

“When a bird hatches, the first thing it hears and sees is deeply imprinted in its psyche. Humans aren’t quite as imprintable as that, but I still think that since I’ve been doing this for ages, a lot of people first heard my voice when they were three or four. So there might be a whole population of television viewers who are imprinted with my voice. They see me as their daddy bird…" (radiotimes)

2: FBI release information on Wu-Tang Clan and ODB
According to a recently released FBI report the rapper Ol’ Dirty Bastard was heavily involved in murder, car-jackings and the sale of drugs and illegal guns. The report also alleges that ODB was arrested over 15 times on charges ranging from injuring a child to the attempted murder of a police officer. It also tells of how he was robbed at gunpoint in his own home.

The Wu-Tang Clan, of which ODB was a member, are portrayed as a criminal gang who organised drug-deals and homicides and it is also claimed that in 2000 they were under investigation by NYPD’s violent crimes/gang squad and the US Attorney’s office. (guardian)

3: CBB star Thomas accused of being a bully
Kill Bill actor Michael Madsen has accused his CBB housemate and rugby legend Gareth Thomas of being a bully. The accusation arose after Thomas likened Madsen’s snoring to a pig’s snort. Thomas laughed off the accusation and said: “I like your style, in fact I love your style.” (huffingtonpost)

4: Eric Bana to play Elvis
Hanna star Eric Bana is set to play Elvis Presley in a up-coming film. The Australian actor will play the legendary hip-shaker in Elvis & Nixon that will tell the story of the The King’s 1970 visit to the White House. Clash of the Titans star Danny Huston is in talks to play Nixon. (CNN)

5: A sparkle of wedding Bell
Billy Elliot star Jamie Bell is said to be engaged to actress Evan Rachel Wood. Bell (25) was spotted in jewellery shops late last month, and Ides of March star Wood wore a solitaire on her ring finger in L.A. last week. Wood dubbed Bell her “soulmate” for giving her shoes at Christmas. (Irish Daily Star)

6: Recorded/internet-delivered content more popular than live TV
TiVo, the DVR pioneer, have said that their latest research indicates that viewership of recorded TV and internet-delivered content is surpassing live TV viewership. (hollywoodreporter)

Beyonce and Jay-Z have been defended by the Mayor of New York, Michael Bloomberg, after it was claimed that the couple took over an entire floor of the Lenox Hill Hospital for the arrival of their daughter Blue Ivy Carter. (eonline)

8: Haywire - First 5 minutes
The first five minutes of the up-coming action movie Haywire have been released and they contain a hard-hitting fight scene between Channing Tatum and Gina Carano. Tatum starts of the brawl with a vicious attack but Carano soon gets the upper hand and gives him what for. Caution this clip contains strong language and even stronger violence.
