One of the
Tallafornia cast will return this summer to the place where they believe they were conceived — the Spanish resort of Santa Ponsa.
Filming of the second series of the show is due to begin next month at the party town, which has been a popular destination for the Irish for decades.
A show source said: “I was talking to one of the cast and there is a possibility they might have been conceived there when their parents were on holiday. I won’t embarrass the parents by saying who.”
It’s thought
Kelly Donegan,
Natalie Geraghty,
Nikita Murray,
Jay Abbey and
Cormac Branagan will be taking part in the show but final contract negotiations are still taking place. Fans can expect a new housemate as well as a number of locals to join in the action. And it seems that Irish fans of the show are going to turn up in Santa Ponsa in a bid to meet their favourites.
The source added: “I expect that the majority of people from the last series will be back and we’re putting one new person in too. But they might not be there from the start. Two or three locals might also join the cast. More people will be joining sporadically and if the cast like them they will stay around.
"We’ve received around 150 emails from fans asking when are we shooting in the resort because they want to go out and watch us filming. We will be there all August and a good bit of July. Anyone who wants to join in with the craic is welcome.” Filming will start in Tallaght next month in a bid to clear the air between a number of the cast members who didn’t see eye-to- eye during the first series. They are expected to travel to Mallorca in mid-July.
