The Voice of Ireland
is set for a return to television screens with Kathryn Thomas
again signed on as presenter, it has emerged.
Yet the show’s format is due to undergo radical changes in an effort by RTE to boost ratings, according to reports.
However it will still be a 17-week process, making it the longest of all The Voice shows worldwide.
RTE spent more than €2m buying the format for the search-for-a-star hit, yet ratings dwindled as the show progressed to its latter stages.
