Thief no match for hero John McGuire
Have-a-go-hero John McGuire stopped a thief in his tracks on Dublin's Lower Baggot Street earlier this week.

The TV presenter spotted the robber as he made his escape from Dowlings Pharmacy following a struggle with a female member of management.

But Xpose babe Karen's Koster's other half sprung into action and, despite one rugby style interception being side stepped, the got up and continued to sprint down the busy street after him.

"I jumped into the middle of the road and tried to rugby tackle him, but he side-stepped me. It was so embarrassing," the bashful presenter said.

But, when John finally got hold of the runaway robber, he made sure he paid the price for his actions by pinning him until gardai arrived.

However, the former host of I'm An Adult Get Me Out Of Here, said he was embarrassed at being described as a hero for his brave actions.
