Irish singer Janet Devlin is already an internet star -— even before she releases her debut album.

The flame-haired singer’s X Factor audition on YouTube reached an incredible eight million views this week.

Her popularity continues to grow as millions listen to her spell-binding performance of Elton John’s Your Song on last year’s X Factor.

The girl from Gortin, Co Tyrone, has also amassed nearly 340,000 followers on Twitter.

Janet (18) plans to launch her debut album in September.

She has been busy recording with English songwriter and producer, Eliot Kennedy, who has worked with artists such as the Spice Girls, Bryan Adams, Lulu, S Club 7, Five and Delta Goodrem.

A video of her performing one of her own songs, Crown of Thorns, which will feature on the new album is also circulating.
