Relive the World Cup in 8-bit

Relive the World Cup in 8-bit
The World Cup has drawn to a close, but you can relive the tournament’s most notable moments thanks to Matheus Toscano who recreated them in 8-bit art.

8bit Football is the home to this collection of pieces from the 2014 World Cup, which features memorable goals, controversial moments and even Suarez’s infamous snack during the Uruguay vs Italy match.

Originally, Toscano used MS Paint to create his 8-bit art, but later switched over to an iPad and stylus, using the app Sprite Something. The results are incredible. Most of the players are instantly recognisable and it’s a fun way to remember the craziness that unfolded over the course of the tournament.

And you have to feel a little sorry for Spain…
