We grab the star on the red carpet to talk Dublin, Oscar Wilde and more!
JDIFF 2012 rolls ever on towards the gala finale on the 26th of February but we all know who this years marquee guest was – the legendary
Al Pacino – who was in town to showcase his latest film as a director,
Wilde Salome.
The film is partly a documentary about his own investigations into the life of
Wilde, partly a film version of
Salome and partly a record of a staged ready of the story. It’s nothing if not complex and the man himself came to Ireland three years ago to film parts of the documentary.
Our Hilary was lucky enough to grab a few minutes with the man himself on the red carpet ahead of the screening of
Wilde Salome, check out his thoughts on Dublin and more.
I’m not in the habit of saying such things but that man is a legend.
