Rick and Morty is a show I'd been hearing about every now and then since it first popped up in late 2013.
It was animated and had an old dude and a young dude on some kind of adventures, that was pretty much all I knew and my life continued in blissful ignorance. Which was really my everlasting mistake as I found out when the first season arrived on Netflix recently.
Rick and Morty is one of the best TV shows around, and your life is poorer for not having this madness being beamed to your brain via your eyeballs on a regular basis.
Now there's even more good news as the second season has just landed on Netflix. That means more than 20 episodes of profane humour, nutty visuals, surprising plot twists, fourth wall breaking and oddly gut wrenching moments of drama and emotion. It's a Rick-rollercoaster ride, and everyone is invited.
The even better news - a third season is supposed to arrive by the end of 2016 and the appearance of the show on the streaming service bodes well for it being updated there in a pretty quick fashion. Yay!
