Andrew Scott chats to the press at the IFTAs

Andrew Scott was at the Irish Film and Television Awards in Dublin tonight, with the star nominated in the best lead actor category for his work in comedy The Stag.

Scott didn't manage to claim the award, losing out to Brendan Gleeson for his towering performance in Calvary, but the 37 year old actor - best known for his turn as the villain Moriarty in BBC's Sherlock - was still happy to stop and talk to the crowd.

Here are some images of Andrew Scott at the DoubleTree Hotel in Dublin.

The Stag is in cinemas now, Andrew Scott also appears in Jimmy's Hall, which is out in May 2014.
