It's been a year since the first rumours linking Arnold Schwarzenegger with a role in the planned remake of Toxic Avenger, and it still looks like the actor has yet to officially sign on for the project. When website Total Film asked the actor about his proposed involvement in the movie during a recent interview for his current flick, Sabotage, he refused to comment, saying that it still hadn't been approved.
Whether that means that his involvement in the project hasn't yet been finalized, or the movie itself is still waiting to be officially greenlit wasn't made clear by the website, but the news definitely casts doubt on the future of the movie.
Arnie certainly isn't finding himself without work at the moment, though. Following his stint as Governor of California, the Austrian has managed to nab himself numerous roles, including one major coup - his return to the Terminator universe in Alan Taylor's forthcoming time warping effort, Terminator: Genesis (still a working title).
