The list of reasons to see Mad Max in cinemas is getting lengthier by the day. Today, it’s being reported that the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer will be shown before Mad Max: Fury Road when it hits cinemas.
Collider reports that the trailer will be attached to all copies of Mad Max: Fury Road, Warner Bros.’ first big film of the year. The clip seen in the shaky cam recording from Comic Con was never officially released, so this will be the first time that general audiences will get to see footage from the upcoming superhero flick.
Mad Max will arrive in cinemas on May 14th. Warner Bros. is clearly hoping that this is ample time for the hype surrounding Avengers: Age of Ultron to die down. Perhaps it will then be possible for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice to become the topic of conversation.
It’s worth remembering that the new Star Wars trailer will be shown before Avengers: Age of Ultron. Warner Bros. needs to get this timing window exactly right to get as much exposure as possible.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be released in cinemas on March 25th, 2016.
