Kingsman didn't really land with audiences on this side of the pond but the film was a huge hit in the States, and there's a sequel on the way.
It's called Kingsman The Golden Circle and will see the remaining folk from the first film travelling to the USA to hook up with their allies. These friendly fellows are called 'Statesmen' and we're pretty sure they've found someone to fit the bill.
Channing Tatum has confirmed on Twitter that he's set to join the new film.
He sounds like a good fit for a Southern Super Spy, especially while his other southener project (Gambit) continues to languish in the special hell for movies that will just never get made. He'll be joined by returning folks Taron Egerton and Mark Strong, with a rumour that the likes of Julianne Moore, Halle Berry and Elton John could also be along for the ride.
Director Matthew Vaughn and writer Jane Goldman are back and shooting of all sorts is expected to start in the next month or two. The film is due for release on the 16th of June, 2017.
