Chris Pratt confirmed that he will be appearing in Marvel movies, outside of Guardians of the Galaxy.
In an interview with GQ, he revealed that he is tied to doing a couple more Guardians films and hinted that other films are in the pipeline.
He said, “I’m tied to doing three more, or five more, Guardians of the Galaxy or whatever it is. You know, two more Guardians plus another couple.”
He could have been more clear, but you get the general idea. Guardians of the Galaxy will be a trilogy, while Star Lord is expected to crop up elsewhere in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Given the story unfolding in the Avengers series, expect him to appear in Avengers: Infinity War.
Pratt says that the sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy will start shooting next February.
Chris Pratt will next be seen in Jurassic World, which opens on June 11th. Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is expected in cinemas on April 28th, 2017. Meanwhile, Infinity War Part 1 and 2 hit cinemas in the summers of 2018 and 2019 respectively; Star Lord could feature in one or both of these.
