With news circulating that Colin Firth has decided against taking on the role of the baddie in Spike Lee's remake of cult classic Oldboy, Twitch Film is now speculating that Clive Owen may be the one to step into the vacant position. While Owen has build himself up something of a following thanks to turns in flicks such as Killer Elite and The International, his career hasn't really caught fire like some would have expected.

The news that Firth had turned down the role is another blow to Lee, who had already seen Christian Bale reject the part earlier this year.
