Constantine TV show is totally dead

Constantine TV show is totally dead

The TV show version of Constantine took a long while to find its feet but eventually went to some interesting places by the end of its 13 episode first season run. But that's likely going to be all there ever is, and the show has been officially cancelled by NBC.

It's not a massive surprise, on top of poor ratings it had been made known that the property was looking for another home, with the first rumour suggesting it might make the transition to Syfy and change its name.

That's not going to happen as of right now but there's still hope from smaller networks, cable and even streaming services. Less mainstream channels might be a good fit for Constantine, which always felt like its content was a bit curtailed due to appearing on network TV.

For the moment, showrunner Daniel Cerone is still optimistic and wants the fans to keep shouting about the show to help it keep up momentum. Get in on the action with #SaveConstantine.

Shows have been saved before but many more have disappeared into the ether forever. For now, we're just going to have to wait and see.
