Ok so Deadpool was a total surprise when it arrived earlier this year, partly because it was hilarious and over the top and just plain silly, but also because it was heralded by one of the most inventive marketing campaigns of all time. Plus Ryan Reynolds seemed totally dedicated to pushing the film all day every day.
It seems that's not set to stop with the followup, with the man himself dropping a very early poster on Instagram - which was actually made by a fan.
The advantage of working on a property like Deadpool is that pretty much anything goes. This is a character that can directly rip into the X-Men franchise (and he frequently does) because he's supposed to be self aware and a rather unpleasant person - and Reynolds is eager to use that freedom whenever he can.
The bottom of the poster suggests that 'coming soon' means 2018 but that's again just a dig at how early movies are teased these days, with no confirmed release yet attached - though some are saying 2017 which seems a little soon. Either way, this is going to be hotly anticipated.
