Deadpool was really great, and we're not going to stop saying it until absolutely every one of you has seen it and enjoyed it to the same extent we did. So go watch it!
If you don't think you'll make it out to the cinema, though you really should, the good news today is that we know when it's going to be arriving on home video. And the info comes straight from Deadpool star himself Ryan Reynolds. Who is pretty much Deadpool at this stage.
Yup, the film is also coming to VHS and LaserDisc, and we can't wait to pick it up on those dead formats in lavish special editions that nobody can play anymore. Naturally enough this is an April Fool's joke but it's safe to assume that the film will be out on that date, at least in the states. It's likely to be a little later in Ireland, maybe the 13th of May but there's no confirmation just yet.
No extra features have been confirmed but we do know that a directors cut isn't planned just yet but there will be lots of extended takes of Reynolds and co saying mean things to eachother. An extremely silly commentary track would also be most welcome.
