In 1792, explorer John Evans left Wales for America in search of a lost tribe of Welsh-speaking Native Americans. He vanished into the wilderness for several years and as part of his quest, he created a map of the Missouri river, which Lewis and Clarke used to discover the Pacific Ocean. Welsh musician Gruff Rhys, a descendant of John Evans, and documentary filmmaker Dylan Goch embark on a road trip to retrace the steps of the 18th century adventurer.
