Shot on grainy black and white film on handheld cameras, Marc Singer's documentary chronicles several years in the lives of the people who call the streets of New York City their home. Singer focuses in particular on the communities of drifters who live in the railroad tunnels beneath the streets of Manhattan, interviewing the men who have forged a spirit of togetherness in such inhospitable conditions.
