Did Sherlock Actually Bring Back Moriarty?
Spoilers for His Last Vow to follow… The final feature length episode of Sherlock Season three aired last night on BBC One. It was, objectively, awesome. However a last minute reveal has set the internetosphere abuzz with chatter, speculation, complaint and giddy squeals!

Despite taking the business end of a handgun round to the brain-pan at the end of Season 2, it would appear Stephen Moffat and Mark Gatiss are resurrecting Jim Moriarty. Alan Scott’s rather divisive portrayal of the world’s only consulting criminal enjoyed a few quick teases this season but a last minute multimedia viral would suggest he’s indeed back from the grave.

Of course, there’s no direct evidence that Moriarty indeed lives.
Perhaps the final sting was some instance of elaborate digital wizardry.
Or a twin.
Or a clone.
Or a time traveller.
Though we somewhat doubt those last few, only another TWO YEARS (or so) to wait to find out what Gatiss and Moffat have in store!
