Digital Biscuit returns for its third year in January 2015. It's an initiativeof the Screen Directors Guild of Ireland. SDGI is the representative body established to support the needs of screen directors in Ireland across all audiovisual media, with its members including directors of feature films, animation, documentary, television drama, short films, video art and commercials. And this year, they're welcoming a host of film talent to Dublin.
Chief among them is none other than Michele Gondry - the creative powerhouse behind films like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Green Hornet and Mood Indigo. Hi wealth of knowledge extends from music videos to features and his next project might just be an adaptation of Philip K. Dick's UBIK - which would be incredible.
Also set to appear at Digital Biscuit is acclaimed cinematographer Bruno Delbonnell, who has been responsible for the amazing visuals in movies like Amelie, Dark Shadows and Tim Burton's upcoming Big Eyes. Franklin Leonard will also be attending - he's an academic and columnist but he's best known for creating the Black List. That's a list of the best unproduced scripts which is created every year, which has resulted in numerous productions and $16 billion in worldwide revenue. He's bound to be a fascinating guest.
