This latest spot for Quentin Tarantino’s seventh directorial outing boasts precious new footage but manages to more of less cement the tone of his period western.

Based in the Deep South, the story concerns one Django (silent D there folks), a freed slave who hunts across the American wilderness alongside German dentist/mercenary/companion Dr King Schultz for the notorious Brittle Brothers and his long sold wife.


Allegedly inspired by 1960s spaghetti western DJANGO, the original protagonist Franco Nero enjoys a brief cameo.

Django Unchained is set for a Christmas release (December 25th for all you handsome atheists) and boasts the talents of Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kerry Washington and Samuel L. Jackson.
