In Cancun earlier this year, Click got the chance to sit down with the cast and crew of
The Amazing Spider-Man to chat about the blockbuster reboot.
We grabbed extended chats with
Andrew Garfield and
Rhys Ifans for print, which you’ll find on the site in the coming weeks, but we also grabbed some TV interviews and we’ll be posting them on the site weekly in the run up to the release of
The Amazing Spider-Man on July 3rd.
First up is
Emma Stone, who takes on the role of young Gwen Stacy in the film. The 23 year old has had an incredible year, earning attention for her more dramatic turn in
The Help and proving her comedy chops once again in
Crazy, Stupid, Love. And now she’s got the chance to take on her first true blockbuster project with an all new version of
Spider-Man – taking the hero back to high school for a more intimate take on his origin story.
Here,
Emma talks about adjusting to her first massive movie, working with 3D and keeping the wisecracks in a dark vision of the series.
And in case you missed it, check out our interview teaser which includes some deleted snippets.
The Amazing Spider-Man is in cinemas from the 3rd of July and we’ll have more interviews with the likes of Andrew Garfield and director Marc Webb in the coming weeks.
