In the Irish/Australian film Strangerland a mother and father are thrust into a desperate search when their teenage daughters go missing in a small town in the middle of the Australian Outback.
The film features Nicole Kidman, Joseph Fiennes and Hugo Weaving and was shot by Irish cinematographer PJ Dillon. You can hear from all of them, alongside director Kim Farrant, in our exclusive video with clips and interviews from the upcoming thriller.
Here's the full summary of the film:
"In Strangerland the Parker family, new to the remote desert town of Nathgari thrown into crisis when Catherine (Nicole Kidman) and Matthew (Joseph Fiennes) discover that their two teenage kids have mysteriously disappeared just before a massive dust storm hits the town. With the town now eerily smothered in red dust and darkness, the locals join the search led by local cop David Rae (Hugo Weaving). But scorching temperatures mean the chances of survival are plummeting with each passing day and Catherine and Matthew find themselves pushed to the brink as they struggle to survive the uncertainty of their children’s fate."
Strangerland is in Irish cinemas on the 5th of February 2016.
