Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is in cinemas this week, and it's about to kick off the frenzy of the Harry Potter world yet again.
We've heard quite a bit about the series already, including confirmation that it's going to be spread over five movies. Assuming one every two years, that sorts out Christmas movie watching right up to 2024!
Author and now screenwriter J.K. Rowling had more to share though in this quick interview.
So it seems the films themselves will take place over almost 20 years in the world which is being presented. That's interesting to hear, as it's a significantly longer span than we saw in the Harry Potter movies.
It's likely we're going to be seeing a lot of changes in the lives of these characters, and as events draw closer to those of Mr Harry Potter (who in the book world was born in 1980) we're likely to see more references crop up.
We've also heard that director David Yates is on board to direct all five films. He's already got four Harry Potter movies under his belt, meaning guy will end up spending the guts of 20 years making movies in this universe. Which is quite an achivement.
Are you ready for a whole lot more Fantastic Beasts? The first film is out on the 18th of November 2016.
