Luke Evans (Clash of the Titans, Immortals) has been confirmed to play the villain role in
Fast and Furious 6, although where the distinction for a “villainous” character is made in the franchise is usually a little grey. While Evans’ schedule is quite busy with the filming of
The Hobbit presently, he is in negotiations to take on the role of the leader of a rival street racing crew.
The latest instalment will offer a change of scenery as the crew are to head to Berlin and London at the very least. The story will centre around a heist overseas, while Evans and his crew will be embarking on the same heist. Cue plenty of switch-ups, dummy heists and wheel-to-wheel racing around European streets and motorways. Besides Evans, the only other newcomer listed so far is Haywire star and MMA fighter
Gina Carano. Those who will make up Evans’ crew are still to be announced.
