The initial plans for the future of the
Fast and the Furiousseries indicated that numbers six and seven in the franchise would be shot back-to-back.
Dwayne Johnson has said that this is not the case anymore. Unfortunately, weather conditions are causing issues for shooting and this is affecting the scheduling process. Johnson said that it would have made sense if everyone was in the same place at the same time. However, Mother Nature has gotten the best of them. Johnson added, “I think we’re dealing with some weather issues, so from what I know we’re going to shoot Fast Six first and then worry about Fast Seven a little later.”
TheFast & the Furious Six and
The Fast and the Furious Seven are set to take place in the UK and in Germany, but that is all that Johnson has been informed of so far. Shooting will begin in May, with The Fast and the Furious Six due in cinemas in May 2013.
