The latest trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man shows the Lizard in action, a Spider-Man who isn’t afraid to make a quip or two, and plenty of action sequences. The trailer shows that Peter Parker is haunted by the disappearance of his parents and is still coming to grips with his new life circumstances. Being a hero isn’t all it’s cracked up to be as Parker himself describes; he is a wanted man, he has made powerful enemies and he has got a giant lizard throwing him around New York City.

Be warned, there is a lot more shown in this full length trailer and it certainly provides some talking points. It also manages to show that there is a different side to the Spider-Man story than was told in the original with Tobey Maguire. The Amazing Spider-Man will be released on July 3rd in North America and July 4th in Europe.
