First trailer for Irish Sundance hit Mammal

Fresh from it's world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in the US, Irish film Mammal has debuted its first trailer. It's the story of a grieving mother who is trying to come to terms with the loss of her son, and her fractured relationship with her husband and a homeless young man.

The film stars Australian actress Rachel Griffiths, who you may remember from Six Feet Under and picked up an Oscar nod for Hilary and Jackie in 1999. She's joined by Michael McElhatton (Game of Thrones) and young Barry Keoghan in a film directed and co-written by Rebecca Daly (The Other Side of Sleep).

Mammal comes away from Sundance with strong reviews and international distribution already secured. Before then it will screen at festivals in Rotterdam and Gothenberg and there's a good chance it could appear at the Dublin International Film Festival in late February.
